Location: Outside the grounds of Westervelt-Vanderhoef House in Weasel Brook Park
This camp engages with an art based learning program that provides growth in self-esteem, mindfulness, stress management, social skills, cultural awareness, problem solving, critical thinking and leadership.
Camp includes personal art supplies and snack daily for each camper. Campers will engage in a diversity of Arts based activities including creative design projects as well as musical expression and movement. All projects and activities are theme based to promote social emotional learning. Camp activities include musical mindfulness, kindness rocks (rock painting) colorful emotions projects with sand art, and personal word collages.
Snacks are being provided, but not lunch. Children should bring their own bagged lunch. There will be a party on the last day of camp. Details will follow once registered.
This is a 4-day event - Monday- Thursday 9am -3pm. The fee is $125
The deadline is July 7th to pay and procure a spot. Class limit is 15-16 students.
Due to the ongoing closure of the Arts Center during the pandemic, we have created a new virtual Speaker Series for the Clifton community. All programs are free through Zoom, but require registration. Additional details to follow.

Presenters: Robin Hoffman and Jodi Stiffelm
Robin Hoffman and Jodi Stiffelm from ArtScapades in Connecticut will explore closely the Four Freedoms paintings by legendary artist, Norman Rockwell based on the speech given in 1941 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Also, Anne Oppermann from Massachusetts, Norman Rockwell’s former secretary and historian will share personal stories and letters about Norman Rockwell.
